The Professional Side
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Samantha Johnson spent more than a decade as a dental hygienist. Those years allowed her to build meaningful relationships with patients while developing a deep appreciation for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her passion for helping others inspired her to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona, allowing her to expand the ways she could care for her patients.
During dental school, Dr. Johnson served as President of her Comprehensive Care Unit and volunteered alongside her classmates with Healthcare for the Homeless, reflecting her commitment to leadership, service, and giving back to the community.
Having cared for patients from both the hygiene chair and the doctor’s chair, Dr. Johnson brings a unique perspective to dentistry. She believes exceptional dental care is built on empathy, education, and trust, and she is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles while making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Known for her attention to detail and thoughtful communication, Dr. Johnson believes every patient deserves to feel heard, understand their treatment options, and have all their questions answered. She never wants patients to feel rushed and believes in treating the whole person—not just their teeth.
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Johnson is committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry. She has special interests in clear aligner therapy, digital dentistry, and preventive care, and enjoys incorporating modern, evidence-based techniques to help patients achieve healthy, lasting smiles.
Dr. Johnson is honored to serve the families of the Gulf Coast and looks forward to building lifelong relationships founded on trust, honesty, and exceptional care.
The Personal Side
Originally from Griffin, Georgia, Dr. Johnson later made Atlanta her home before moving to Arizona to attend dental school. After graduation, she was drawn to the Emerald Coast by its beautiful beaches, welcoming community, and relaxed coastal lifestyle, and is excited to build both her career and her life along the Gulf Coast.
Outside the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys discovering new local restaurants, relaxing on the beach with a good book, staying active, and spending time with her fiancé and their three dogs, Shelby, Rhett, and Rowan. She believes life is all about meaningful connections—whether with family, friends, or patients—and strives to make every person who walks through the door feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
