The Professional Side
Raised in rural Georgia, Dr. Max learned early the importance of caring for others. He served veterans at the Carl Vinson VA and volunteered with Adult & Teen Challenge, supporting individuals in addiction recovery. These experiences deeply shaped his heart for service and strengthened his commitment to meeting people with empathy and understanding. His approach to dentistry is rooted in the same love and compassion that Christ has shown him, and he strives to create an environment where every patient feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.
When it comes to clinical care, Dr. Max believes the best dental care is a partnership. He works alongside his patients, providing guidance and education so they feel confident and empowered when making decisions about their oral health and long-term smile goals.
Dr. Max is a graduate of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, where he served as class president, led the Christian Medical and Dental Association chapter, and earned the school’s highest honor, the Dean’s Award, recognizing excellence in character, leadership, and academics. He enjoys providing comprehensive dental care and has a special heart for patients who feel anxious or nervous about visiting the dentist.
The Personal Side
A wise man by the name of George Strait once said, “Check yes or no.” When Dr. Max was 12, he met his wife, Madison. She “checked yes,” and he’s been smiling ever since. Today, they cherish life together with their sweet daughter and golden retriever. Whether dancing in the living room, playing at home, or simply enjoying time together, family is at the center of Dr. Max’s life.
Outside the office, he enjoys DIY projects around the house, reading, staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Much of his motivation and energy comes from recharging at home and reflecting on the mercy and grace of God in his life.
